Wandering Vagabond

I belong to a wonderful group of art journalists who inspire, encourage, laugh and are simply amazing women!  Last week one of the prompts was "What are 5 places you'd like to visit? 5 places you've visited and would like to go back to".

Well of course I thought about my Life Book and how one section is about places I would like to visit.  So here is my page I came up with.

I think I've found I like more white space on my journal pages but they don't really photograph very well.  Have you found any great sites to learn about photographing your photos for your blog?

Hope you are enjoying your day and my creative soul is so ready for 2012, is yours?

these pages love lovely - I love pages with old book/newspaper type text and print! I am pretty rubbish at taking pics of my pages, so can't offer much advice, but maybe you could take an overall pica nd some close ups of parts you especially like to show them better? Sure others are more technically gifted and experienced to gice some better suggestions though...!x

I took a class by Steve Sonheim, called photo silly. Teaches you things about the camera and the different settings and gets you to look at what you are shooting pictures of from a different perspective. I won a photo contest after I took this class, so I guess that is a good recommendation. It's an online class. I had taken a drawing class from his wife Carla Sonheim and she sent a link Here is a different class that will be starting in January, it looks good. http://seekyourcourse.com/offerings/154

Love the splashes of color. The page is open and inviting and provides great spaces if you decide to fill it with writing.
