Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

Hi and thanks for visiting today!  This morning while looking through my emails, there was one from Papercraft Star.  I've always good intentions of doing the challenges because it's so simple.  Just create a project that is inspired by the picture.  Easy enough!
Of course, there never seems to be time but today, I took the time.

and this was my inspiration:
I just loved the colors and of course the sunflower pillow really caught my eye.  I hope you take some time to fill your creative soul today.

Supplies:
paper - october afternoon, neenah bright white and kraft
inks: tsukineko in rich brown and ranger in van dyke brown
trim & stick pin: maya road
ribbon: amuse art
flower & leaf: prima marketing, inc

Friday

Really?

Has it really been that long since I was creative?  *sighs*  Well, I really have been busy though.  I've organized every stamp I own into an Excel Spreadsheet, all ribbons have found a home and every everything is in it's rightful home!  I love my space now and it is so workable.

Over at Creating the Crafty Life they have weekly challenges and I figured this would be quick and easy for me today.  Here's what I came up with:

I know it's early yet for Halloween but the stores don't think so!  Enjoy your weekend and keep your creative soul intrigued with fun challenges!

Supplies:
Amuse Shimmer Couture in Bubblegum & Orange (which I have in my shop)
KI Memories pattern paper
MFT stamps from their Totally Witchin' set
From my stash: ribbon, crystals, embroidery floss and button.
Oh and Copics too in colors I've already put away

Thursday

Oh well...

By one would think I know my own  "style".  Wait, do I even have a style?  Oh my....mine is all over the place but today I attempted what I call a "clean" card.  Now, I have not touched my beautiful Copic collection for almost 2 years now so you can imagine my troubles when I tried to blend!  Anyway, I made a card for a challenge.  <insert the word thought in that sentance>.  I suppose I need to read the directions better.  Over at Papercraft Star they have great challenges every week and I loved the colors but then after 5 hours they started hurting my eyes.  Anyway, here's my go at it:
Now for the fine print................................................................................. summer beachDo you see how tiny that print is?  I was going to add some sort of greeting of some sort but then realized I blew it completely.  See the blurring picture?  While it's easily over 90 degrees outside the wind is blowing like crazy which is really good because there's quite a few mistakes.  Gotta just roll with it and I did have fun dusting off my Copics.  Hope I was able to inspire your creative soul to reach out of your comfort zone and laugh with me!
