Bouquet of Flowers

Happy Day to you!

I am having fun in the studio today making a BIG, huge mess!  Today, I'm working on a service assignement with all the other Brave Girls from the Art School.

I have visions of this packaged up pretty in a box with a big giant bow on it, waiting on their doorstep.  A simple little bouquet of flowers for a friend.
This still needs some finishing touches before that happens but figured
I'd show you my messy desk today.

Enjoy!

Supplies:

Liqutex Raw Umber (step and completed project will be shown on Thursday on the eP blog)

Funky Flowers

I am having a total blast meeting new friends, being artsy and enjoying life!  Of course, all that is in between caring for Nana, paying the bills, chores and all the other junk that life throws at me.

The Brave Girl Art School is my latest course I'm taking and holy moly, I am LOVING it!  Melody Ross, Kathy Wilkins and all the Brave Girls in the group show so much unconditional love and real honest, down to earth smiles.  Smitten, I am!
Right now we are learning about Funky Flowers.  Here's my first take on it.  Believe me, this won't be my last.  In fact, I've already started on my next one.  I'm completely and utterly hooked!

Hope you are inpsired a bit by my Funky Flowers and are able to find
little snippets of time to be artsy!

Daily Truths

Just about every morning when I check my email, there is a gift for me.  It starts my day.  Each Daily Truth speaks to me in some way shape or form.  I have been telling all my family and friends about these very special letters and now I'd like to tell you about them.  I have every letter saved and while I've only been receiving them now for about 2 weeks, it's hard to say I have just one favorite but here's a sample of one:

Dear Patient Girl,

There will come a time when you can't really even remember why or how you were so hurt and devastated. It will even become difficult to try to recreate the memories and the pain of the memories. Someday you will feel complete healing.

Suddenly, the parts of your life that used to hurt so much will simply be short chapters in your rich life story. Where once you thought that devastating experiences were THE STORY of your life, you will see that they were actually only just the set-up and the build-up and the lead-in of the real story.

There will come a time when your hurts no longer define you are consume you, when they are just sprinklings of the big picture, the big story of your big life. There will even come a time when you will see how necessary those parts were to your story, that nothing else could have made sense without them.

You will see. Be patient with it all. Every good story has opposition, tragedy, and the overcoming of it all. YOUR STORY is a beautiful big rich story. Embrace all of the parts of it and see them in their proper perspective.

You are the brave heroine. You are the main character. You have such a beautiful, beautiful story and there are so many incredible chapters still to come.

Keep being brave. You are so loved.
xoxo

Over the past couple months while I have been searching, growing, and finding myself again after being lost, I have known there is a reason for all of it and this beautifully written letter was written for ME!!!  It reminds me to breathe and to know there is a reason for all the tiny pieces of my past.  Those pieces (the good and the bad) were all part of the big plan for me.  And I'm suppose to be where I am today.  There is an amazing story I am writing, the story of me...the story of my life and I am so grateful that I get to write more and more chapters that when intertwined together, will make my life.  My beautiful life, my perfect life.  I encourage you to check out the Brave Girls Club, if you give it a chance, it will inspire YOUR beautiful creative soul!
